About

Ever feel like the real you is a lot cooler and braver than every day you? Maybe the real you would surf, or ride a motorcycle. Maybe she would try being a nomad, or move to a new country half way around the world.

But every day you is stuck in a routine, afraid of uncomfortable situations, wondering if you’ll ever have the nerve to do all of those cool things you dream about.

That’s me in a nutshell. Well, it was me.

In 2017 my hubs Tony and I decided to take the plunge and do the biggest/scariest/coolest item on our bucket list: move to a new country.

We’re taking a year to travel the world as digital nomads, then hopefully we’ll find and settle down in our new forever home.

Here’s the thing… we’ve done our fair share of traveling, but I still have a lot of hang ups that hold me back from being the free spirited, adventure loving real me. Living out of a suitcase is already stressful. The last thing I want to do is drag both physical and psychological baggage around the world.

So, I’m looking for (and finding!) ways to deal with my fears and phobias, lower my stress levels, and manage my expectations. I’m still doing stressful things (like having jaw surgery in Southeast Asia, moving every week, living out of a suitcase), but I’m using some new strategies to feel more laid back, and more like that cooler, braver me.

Want a little extra push to take that plunge yourself? Get rid of your hang ups, and make your adventurous new life a reality? Lets be friends. Subscribe and keep reading. Learn from my mistakes, and take advantage of my experiments.

Oh, hey! Let’s chat in the comments or on the social medias and give each other pep talks! Let me know what’s working for you and what’s not, and I’ll share my progress along the way to becoming the surfing, motorcycle riding, adventure having me I’ve always wanted to be.

Follow and chat with me on the Soc-Meds!
